Directions by Car

Calm Imaging operates from a modern outpatient diagnostic facility at Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre. This environment is purpose-built, calm, and easy to navigate—nothing like a large, busy hospital with multiple blocks. We aim to make your visit as smooth and stress-free as possible.

  • Location & Motorway Access:

    • Calm Imaging at Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre is adjacent to Junction 4 of the M1 and about 7 miles from Junction 21 of the M25.

    • From the North Circular: travel via Edgware and the A41 to reach Centennial Park.

    • For journeys north on the M1: you can also approach via Edgware or via the M10 at St. Albans, depending on your starting point.

    • The centre’s position close to these major routes makes it straightforward to reach by car, especially on Sundays when our appointments take place (avoiding typical weekday traffic).

  • Free Patient Parking:

    • Parking at Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre is free and plentiful for Calm Imaging patients.

    • Dedicated disabled parking spaces are available close to the entrance. If you need assistance from your car to reception, please let us know when booking or call us on arrival—our team will be happy to help.

  • Wheelchair & Step-Free Access:

    • The entrance and all public areas are level and fully wheelchair accessible. An MRI-safe wheelchair is also available on site. We want everyone to feel at ease from arrival onwards.

  • Arrival Experience:

    • Use the main entrance of Spire Bushey Diagnostic Centre. Once inside, simply check in at reception and mention your Calm Imaging appointment. Reception staff will direct you to our calm, purpose-designed area. There’s no complex signage to follow—it’s immediately clear once you’re inside.

    • Because we operate on Sundays, you avoid peak-hour congestion and a crowded reception area, making your journey and arrival more relaxed.

    • If you arrive early or wish to relax before your appointment, there’s a Starbucks less than a five-minute walk away, located inside the Village Hotel on Centennial Park. It’s a pleasant spot for a coffee or snack before your scan.
